Hey there! I’m Eric Minor, a marketing strategist who’s spent the last 25 years helping brands tell their stories and connect with customers in meaningful ways. My journey into marketing started in an unexpected place – as an electrical engineer analyzing data for Quaker Oats. That unique blend of technical know-how and consumer insights proved to be my secret weapon as I moved through roles at industry giants like PepsiCo and Kraft Heinz. What began as number-crunching evolved into a passion for finding those special opportunities that transform good brands into great ones. Whether it was launching Cheetos Cheesy Checkers or driving category leadership in pet food, I discovered that magic happens when you combine solid data with creative thinking.

This approach led me to establish BENE Associates in 2009, where I partnered with major brands like ConAgra Foods while drawing from my experience launching innovative products at S.C. Johnson that generated over $60 million in sales. The consulting work revealed something exciting: organizations of all sizes were hungry for Fortune 500 marketing expertise. I expanded my playbook even further as Senior Director at Libman Company, where we doubled website traffic and launched successful TV campaigns, and later as CMO at the University of Illinois, where we achieved record enrollment during unprecedented times. Each role added new dimensions to my understanding of what makes marketing truly effective.
